DCA invitation to support

The Dominican Cultural Association is hosting a fundraiser to raise $8,000. The money is to pay the freight cost to send a firetruck to the municipality of Caleta in Romana, Dominican Republic.

Caleta is a poor community in the Dominican Republic that is in desperate need of a firetruck and related equipment. Consequently, lives were lost in a recent fire due to not having a ladder truck to lower people from upper floors in a hospital where the fire took place. The town of Bergenfield retired two firetrucks, correspondingly, a ladder was donated to Caleta per their request.

Contributions can be sent to: P.O. Box 5145, Bergenfield, NJ. 07621 Or send via Venmo to: @dcanj.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation
